Sales Representative – Laboratory Instrumentation

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Sales Representative to develop sales of our scientific instruments, laboratory equipment, customized solutions, and services across Eastern Canada.
Territory: Eastern Canada, from the Maritimes to Toronto, with a strong concentration of activities between Quebec City and Ottawa. The position is based in the Greater Montreal Area.

Salary
80 000$ to 110 000$ + commission
For this position, you will have to:
- Develop sales of Ingenio’s scientific instruments, laboratory equipment, and solutions within the assigned territory and recommend solutions best suited to customer needs
- Identify, qualify, develop, and convert new business opportunities
- Participate in relevant trade shows, conferences, and scientific events
- Be available for regular customer travel throughout the assigned territory, representing 25% to 50% of the time, including overnight stays as required
- Prepare commercial proposals and respond to tenders
- Keep activities, forecasts, and opportunities up to date in the CRM (Monday)
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and users within customer accounts
- Stay informed about market trends, technologies, and the competitive landscape
- Collaborate with technical and project teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in science or a related field
- Experience: Ingenio is looking for someone who is curious, customer-focused, and able to learn quickly. Experience in scientific instrumentation, laboratory environments, or technical sales is a strong asset but is not required
- Excellent proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written
- Valid driver’s licence and availability to travel within the assigned territory
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present products, solutions, and technical concepts
