Consul 22 R

Mid-sized refrigerated centrifuge

The Consul 22 R is THE centrifuge to choose when you need a benchtop mid-sized refrigerated centrifuge capable of supporting up to 400 mL of liquid per bucket. The touch screen interface allows you to control the instrument by setting the operating parameters while also permitting the user to export the data to analyze it or program future workflows.

As with all Orto Alresa centrifuges, versatility is a big quality of this model - the rotors can be swapped out for different types of applications such as centrifuging microplates, microtubes, 50 and 250 mL tubes, etc, and can also be fitted with several kinds of adaptors. The refrigeration system is temperature controlled with a sensor inside the centrifuge and can be set between -20°C and 40°C. The temperature is also maintained after the centrifugation is done, so your workflow carries no risk of being compromised by a delay in retrieving your samples from the centrifuge.
