Standard Hydrogen Purity - Using a desiccant cartridge

The COSMOS MD.H2 generator has been designed for Gas Chromatography (GC) applications for carrier gas and detectors such as FID, FPD, NPD and TCD. It can provide 99.9996% (O2 < 1 ppm, Dew Point < -55°C) pure hydrogen at a pressure ranging from 1 to 7 bar (14 to 101.5 psi). Each COSMOS model has a maximum hydrogen flow rate that varies between 110 and 600 cc/min. The Hydrogen gas is produced from deionised water (ASTM II, < 0.1 μS Conductivity) using the exclusive 100% titanium Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) technology, which provides a very high reliability, new longer life and better purity. The COSMOS MD.H2 series use a desiccant cartridge to dry the H2 gas and increase the purity. It needs to be replaced or refilled when saturated. The COSMOS MD.H2 is equipped with a touch screen interface to provide simple and user-friendly management of all functions on the unit.
