The illó is an automated process for Gas Chromatography (GC) analysis of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) found in soil. The robotic solution combines an embedded ultrasonic bath, an automated balance and 4 vortex mixers with a PAL RTC system. This setup allows you to greatly reduce the soil sample preparation time and free personnel for other manipulations. These benefits are also shared with our other automated environmental platform for PAHs in soil, the HAPEX.
