Mini MALDI for the smallest places

Shimadzu used its unique experience developing Digital Ion Traps to introduce the most compact MALDI-based instrument available: the MALDImini-1. The smallest MALDI on the market fits on a single piece of paper and enables users to perform advanced mass spectrometry experiments, including comprehensive structural analysis, in spaces never before possible.

Minimum Footprint
With its simple benchtop configuration, the compact MALDImini-1 can be installed in small places where mass spectrometers previously could not fit in laboratories. The unique Digital Ion Trap (DIT) technology from Shimadzu, combined with the innovative design of the laser optics, sample stage, and vacuum exhaust system, drastically reduces the space needed for the device while maintaining its versatility for analyzing complex structures.
